Infrastructure Engineering, Inc. is providing resident engineering and construction inspection services for the $476 million dollar program to upgrade the CTA Brown Line. The project includes extending platforms at 18 stations and increasing capacity by 33 percent. Sixteen stations will be reconstructed and 13 will have elevators installed. The project also includes signal, electrical and communications upgrades. IEI is the resident engineer for reconstruction of Belmont and Fullerton stations.

IEI is also rehabilitating the 100-year old Clark Junction facility, which is located where the CTA Brown, Purple and Red Line trains merge on Chicago's north side. The rehabilitation work will include track replacement, upgrading third rail power, communications and signal systems. The goal of the $60.7 million Clark Junction Rehabilitation Project is to facilitate efficiency and timeliness.
