Phase III Construction Engineering Services, Various Locations

IEI was retained by the various owners to provide Phase III construction engineering services for various projects in multiple locations. The scope of work included construction surveys, staking, inspection, quality assurance testing and reporting, measurement, computation and documentation of quantities, and reporting and record keeping for construction work to be performed by the contractor on various construction projects as assigned.
Projects undertaken for Cook County Highway Department include the following:
- Vincennes Avenue from 119th Street to 103rd Street
- Rehabilitation of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (103rd to 115th Street) and State Street (115th to 119th Street)
- Martin Luther King Drive - Phase 3 Improvements from 103rd Street to 79th Street
- North Frontage Road Resurfacing
- Euclid/West Lake Avenue from Wolf Road to Milwaukee Avenue
- Dempster/Thacker Street Reconstruction
- South Frontage Road (Battan Drive) from 25th Avenue to 1st Avenue
- East River Road at Ballard Road Intersection Improvements
- Eisenhower Expressway North Frontage Road
Projects undertaken for Illinois Department of Transportation include the following:
- Wisconsin State Line to Illinois Route 173 Intersection Reconstruction
- Flint Creek Bridge Repair on Illinois Route 14
- Illinois Route 43 Over the North Branch of the Chicago River
- Sheridan Road Bridge Over Middleton Ravine and Sheridan Bridge Over Bovington Ravine
- Illinois 137 Bridge Over Peterson Road, Lake County, Illinois
