Damiel Cox, PE
Assistant Program Manager
INGENUITY Experience. Damiel brings more than a decade of experience delivering complex infrastructure programs from planning through construction. Since joining IEI in 2011, he has advanced from intern to Project Manager, Design Team Lead, and now Program Management Team Leader for IEI’s C*NECT group.
He partners with clients to streamline delivery, manage risk, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. Damiel leads multidisciplinary teams on civil and green infrastructure projects, providing construction oversight, constructability reviews, and practical stormwater management solutions. His collaborative approach and deep familiarity with agency processes support effective coordination with partners on complex infrastructure programs.
Education. Damiel earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Marquette University.
Involvement in Community. Damiel serves on the ASCE–CI Illinois Chapter, where he assists with marketing and communications.
