INGENUITY Experience: David Robbins, M.S., brings decades of experience in aviation infrastructure, resiliency, sustainability, and energy management, delivering major landside and airside projects across the country. He leads IEI’s efforts to expand aviation infrastructure programs, strengthen client partnerships, and pursue new opportunities within the sector.
Previously, David served as Director of Infrastructure Resiliency at the Houston Airport System, where he led the first Airport Resilience Master Plan in the National Airspace System. During a 16-year tenure with the Chicago Department of Aviation, he rose to Assistant Commissioner and led key initiatives for a major airport modernization program.
Education: David holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Technology from Eastern Michigan University, with dual concentrations in Aviation Management and Emergency Management.
Involvement in Community: David is an active member of several civic and professional organizations, including the Rotary Club of Houston, City Club of Chicago, and Advanced Energy Group.
