IEI observes Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15, 2026

IEI joins in observing Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to recognize the history, culture, achievements, and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities. This year’s theme, “Together, we are more,” aligns with the collaborative spirit behind civil engineering, bringing people, disciplines, and ideas together to shape infrastructure that supports stronger communities.

Across the country, Hispanic and Latinx professionals have contributed to the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure that connects neighborhoods, improves mobility, and helps communities thrive.

As one of the largest minority-owned civil engineering firms in the U.S., IEI values the diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives that strengthen our industry. This month, we celebrate the pioneers who have helped advance civil engineering and recognize the Hispanic and Latinx professionals continuing to build a stronger, more inclusive future.
