IEI Welcomes LaKesha Lundy as Its First External Board Member

November 2, 2026

Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI) has named LaKesha Lundy to its Board of Directors as the firm’s first external member. Her addition brings an outside financial perspective to IEI’s long-term planning, supporting responsible expansion and informed decisions about the resources that sustain client partnerships, collaboration, and employees’ continued success.

LaKesha brings more than 16 years of experience managing profit-and-loss responsibilities and assets for global companies across the technology, aviation, consumer goods, and retail sectors. She currently leads financial strategy and capital planning as Head of Finance for Google’s Corporate Engineering division in Chicago. Her career includes roles at PepsiCo, United Airlines, and Sears Holdings, with responsibility for more than $20 billion in assets across these industries.

As IEI plans for its next chapter, an external board member broadens the experience available to guide decisions about growth, capital, and organizational priorities. LaKesha’s financial background adds another lens through which the board can consider opportunities, weigh long-term commitments, and align resources with the firm’s strategic direction. For clients and partners, that planning supports a firm positioned to sustain relationships and respond thoughtfully to increasingly complex infrastructure needs.

LaKesha also brings public-sector governance and community experience. As Board Treasurer for the Illinois International Port District, she leads financial modernization and long-term financial planning. She is Board President of Operation F.A.M., which promotes financial literacy and professional development in underserved communities, and serves as Board Emeritus for The Kindness Campaign.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Clark Atlanta University. She lives in the Chicago area with her husband and their two daughters.
