Chicago Department of Water Management sewer design

CDWM Sewer Design

IEI is performing sewer design services for the Chicago Department of Water Management (CDWM) under a blanket task order request (TOR) contract. The work encompasses sewer design on various segments throughout the city as part of the City of Chicago Capital Improvement Program’s (CIP’s) sewer replacement program.

The scope of services includes the following design tasks: reconstruction of existing sewer systems, upgrade existing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps currently not meeting the City of Chicago’s ADA criteria, resurfacing, maintenance of traffic, structural engineering for specialty structures and deep excavation, cost estimates and project specifications.

IEI has performed designs for seven (7) individual TOR’s under this contract totaling more than 75,000 lineal-feet (approximately 15 miles) of sewer replacement design.
