Grandview Erosion Control

Grandview Erosion Control

The Peoria Park District selected IEI to provide preliminary construction documents to analyze and mitigate the erosion issues that were happening at Grand View Park. The gully located east of the projected intersection of Bishop Avenue and Grandview Drive was eroding, and the two storm sewer inlets in Grand View Drive were releasing directly into the gully, which escalated the erosion. As a result, the erosion was depositing large amounts of sediment onto Galena Road (Illinois Route 29)

As the Prime consultant, IEI provided final construction documents, SWPPP and IEPA support documents, MOT, estimate of quantities and cost estimate, technical specifications, drainage calculations for storm pipes and detention basin, construction administration and construction observation.
