Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) Phase II Bridge Rehabilitation

This project involved phase II engineering services for the preparation of contract drawings, specifications, and project-related permits for the rehabilitation of various crossroad and mainline bridges along the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) between Burkett Road and Steward Creek in Lee County, IL. The scope includes bridge inspections and infrared thermographic survey of the bridge deck, bridge condition report, concept report, repair plan preparation, maintenance of traffic, supplemental survey, scheduling and cost estimates.

As the prime consultant, Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI) provided phase II roadway and structural design and repair plans for 18 bridge structures along the Reagan Memorial tollway (I-88). Responsibilities of the IEI team included MOT design, drainage improvement, landscaping and soil erosion/sedimentation control design, pavement markings, delineators and signage design, utility coordination, and phase III support during construction.
