IEI traffic engineers focus on the safe and efficient movement of all users of the transportation system. Services range from traffic signal warrant studies and design, to individual intersection analysis or full system/corridor analysis. IEI also has experience in bicycle path design, pedestrian studies, highway capacity analysis, traffic impact studies with trip generation and traffic modeling, and corridor traffic system analysis and programming.

IEI’s rapidly expanding aviation practice encompasses several aspects of airport development including planning, runway design, site design services, airfield design, and roadway access. We offer specialized capabilities in the area of storm water management and drainage design for airport systems. IEI provides design, program management and construction management services for runways, taxiways, terminals, perimeter roads and other facilities to improve operations and expand capacity.
