As Infrastructure Engineering culminates the year-long celebration of its 20^th Anniversary, the firm, in keeping with its mission of supporting communities, dedicated a park bench, in the firm’s honor, to the Chicago Parks Foundation. The dedication was attended by IEI’s senior leadership team and Chicago Parks Foundation Supervisor, Jackie Guthrie. On Saturday, December 15th, 2018, IEI memorialized the milestone with the corporate office’s annual holiday celebration. Located near Maggie Daley Park’s rock climbing wall and skating ribbon, the park bench displays the firm’s golden 20th Year Anniversary plaque. The holiday celebration included Maggie Daley Park’s Marketing & Event’s Manager, Jessica Bergeron, IEI leadership, staff and friends and family.

On Monday, November 12th, IEI’s Peoria-Springfield Office celebrated the firm’s 20th Anniversary. Friends, associates and local partners joined IEI’s Peoria-Springfield team in an intimate setting to commemorate the milestone. The atmosphere was a warm and regal backdrop displaying the firm’s history gallery and the chance to personally welcome and extend a many “Thanks” to guests. IEI’s New York office celebrated on October 11th, the firm’s 20^thAnniversary. More than 50 attendees of clients, partners and associates arrived to help the firm celebrate the occasion. Maike Rodriguez, the firm’s New York office’s Operations Manager, gave a warm welcome to everyone and introduced the firm’s President and CEO, Michael Sutton who talked about the firm’s history and the opening of the New York office in October 2015 and new business accomplished with the support of many in attendance. On August 9th, the Indianapolis office celebrated the firm’s 20th Anniversary and the office’s new location with several guests, including local partners, clients, and friends and family. Among the guests in attendance were City Council President, Vop Osili Jr., City Councilman, Monroe Gray, Jr., and Director of Public Works, Dan Parker. The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) – Chicago Chapter – recently announced the results of its 2018 Board elections. Amongst its seven newly-elected members, Infrastructure Engineering’s Clarice Lyons-Davidson, Vice President of Marketing, CPSM, was elected Board Secretary for a two year term.

A national marketing organization, SMPS is dedicated to providing education, team building and networking opportunities for developing business opportunities in the A/E/C industry. Comprised of 57 national chapters, SMPS helps industry professionals – responsible for marketing and business development – build relationships for their companies.

On April 27th Infrastructure Engineering’s Indianapolis office moved from 2601 Fortune Circle East to 201 South Capitol Avenue, Suite 490. As we continue to grow and expand to better serve our clients, our commitment, service and quality remain unchanged.

We’ve rung the bell to 10 years in Indianapolis! It was in January 2006 when we began our Indianapolis office with one staff member. As we celebrate today, we’ve grown to 18 staff members including engineers, inspectors and administrative support. The office works in varied engineering markets and has worked on significant projects throughout Indianapolis and the state of Indiana. As our continued way to show appreciation to our clients and partners, we hosted our annual Day at the Track on Fast Friday – May 20, 2016. It’s an exciting year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as they are celebrating the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. For the Fast Friday Event, drivers practiced for the 500 and garages were open to meet and greet with drivers. The Day at the Track gave us the chance to say “thank you” to all of those who support IEI.

IEI is pleased to announce that owner, founder, and CEO Michael Sutton, has been accepted to become a member of the prestigious 100 Black Men of New York City on April 13, 2016. The 100 Black Men is a volunteer based organization, striving to improve the quality of life and enhance the educational opportunities of African-American males. The firm is pleased to have Michael as a member, and he and IEI are eager to continue our efforts in contributing to the community.
