January 7, 2021

Amidst an unexpected and unforeseen 2020, IEI continued to be present with businesses, leaders and the youth throughout the communities we serve.

In addition to the many organizations and causes IEI supports, President and CEO, Michael Sutton participated in a number of panels, spoke to a group of engineering students and supported several programs in 2020.

Michael joined a virtual panel discussion with the Black Business Empowerment Commission to discuss the impact that Covid-19 had on Black Businesses, as well as the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey’s (AACCNJ) Black Business Month’s webinar series. He also presented for The Science Consortium of Minority Schools (SCMS) with other notable leaders to inspire and encourage women and minority students to consider careers in engineering.
