INGENUITY Experience. With decades of experience in preliminary studies and final design of new structures, bridge replacements and rehabilitations, and inspections, Art has guided major transportation agencies in multiple states through complex projects, including interstate interchanges, tollway bridges, railroad bridges and urban viaduct rehabilitations. At IEI, Art leads the structural practice, sharing technical knowledge with his team and collaborating with IEI’s multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver for our clients.
Art partners with clients to deliver practical, efficient solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and constructability. His deep understanding of agency standards and collaborative approach supports successful delivery of complex infrastructure programs. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in 15 states and a Structural Engineer in Illinois, he offers clients unmatched versatility and confidence in multi-jurisdictional projects.
Education. Art holds a Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Involvement in Community. Art is an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), serves as a Committee 15 Member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA), and participates in ACEC as an Illinois Bridge Committee Member.
